IRWC OFFICERS FEED DEPARTING
TROOPS ON THANKSGIVING 2011SPC Preston Owens and Family with IRWC President Joyce Howard

KAF, AE 09355) with his wife and child, from Celina, TX,
shown with IRWC president Joyce Howard, who
together with IRWC incoming president Elena Blake,
were on hand Thanksgiving Day 2011 to serve a meal to
U.S. soldiers departing for Afghanistan from DFW Airport. The club raised funds for phone cards to give troops, and selected 14 of the departing troops to receive the cards.

on Thanksgiving Day 2011 from DFW Airport for Afghanistan. The soldiers are FOU Bande Sorde (APO AE 89211), center, and Dennis Rivera ACo G-1 BCT. The club supported our U.S. troops by raising funds for phone cards, and by helping serve meals as the soldiers left for duty on Thanksgiving.
